Speaking to younger women, what wonderful things can women look forward to at your age?

In life, we make it a point to accumulate.  Accumulate things, relationships, work etc.  As you get into your late 50's, it's great to begin to let go of the accumulation.  Downsize.  Along with this comes independence, a broader perspective on life.  Clarity and confidence of who you are.  Confidence is sexy!  You will find your purpose and your passion.  Passion for something outside ourselves.  Like art, music, yoga, rockhounding... anything that makes you feel really good!  Look forward to freedom.  Freedom to do what you want, when you want, IF you want.  Start now to set yourself up for the future so you will be financially and emotionally secure.

Share one experience or piece of advice that would lift other women up and empower them.

Confidence is power.  It is a reflection of you knowing your worth.  Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.  If you start to question your worth... pause, adjust your crown and keep moving forward.

Share tips on how you celebrate yourself.

I practice mindfulness to accept, encourage and empower myself in the moment.  I love to get a massage and a sound bowl healing session for overall health and spiritual well-being.

What would you tell your 14-year-old self?

Be proud of yourself!

What is your definition of success?

Success is about who we are and how we got to a place of peace in our life through gratitude. It is our character, integrity and our faith   through discipline, honesty, loyalty, and love.

What is the best advice you have been given?

The best advice I've been given is to "live your life."  You only have this one life.  Don't be afraid to experience new things.  Don't let regret be what you didn't do in life.

Share anything else you want here.

Always start your day with positive energy.  You deserve it.
