Pearls of Wisdom
Ashley Lucas, 40
Mortgage Loan Officer with HawaiiUSA FCU
I am a full-time mortgage loan officer who is passionate about helping others build generational wealth through real estate. I live with deep intention, choosing to center my life around family, love, and meaningful connection. My greatest joy comes from time spent with my love ones, friends, and my fur babies.
In my free time, I enjoy crafting, exploring creative projects with my laser machine, and discovering new restaurants and whiskey bars. Inspired by the dream of having financial freedom with my family to live our lives with ease, and by building a future where travel, peace, and presence are at the center of my days.
What are your thoughts on aging?
Forty is the age where your give-a-damn gets selective, your confidence gets louder, and your peace becomes non-negotiable. The glow-up isn’t about looks — it’s about knowing exactly who you are, not chasing perfection or approval, and strutting through it all in cute heels.
What wonderful things can younger women look forward to at your age? Younger women and girls, might think that it's scary getting older. Let's inspire them!
Aging is like leveling up in the game of life — you gain experience points, unlock new strengths, and get better at dodging drama. It’s less about chasing perfection and more about mastering peace, confidence, and self-love.
Share tips on how you celebrate yourself, what you do for fun, and self care.
I celebrate wins in life by treating myself to good whiskey! Favorite bar, BLA in downtown.
Ladies brunch at Hau Tree. Delicious food, view of the beach and the open air breeze is absolute perfection.
Family time, grabbing shave ice at Ice Garden then heading down to the beach.
Share one experience/story. We all have life struggles. But the big share is how did you over come and lift yourself up? Advice to other women to empower them.
I was once in a long toxic relationship that made me realize how much I truly love myself. No one deserves to endure disrespect or pain, no matter what someone else is going through. I found the strength to choose myself and be alone. I learned that the right person would come along—but first, I had to learn to love myself.
